Stage 1 : Kigali
First stage, the prologue, on Mount Kigali, starts and finishes at the Fazenda Sengha horse stables.
Supporters get transport to the venue and back to the hotel, as well as lunch with the athletes.
In the afternoon, a museum visit showing the history of the country, is organized.
Stage 2: Mount Kabuye
For the first long stage of the race, supporters get loaded in open roof safari vehicles, so they can get the best views. The vehicles will bring you to the starting line, spectating points along the road, and finally the finish.
In the afternoon, a visit to a crafts village is organized.
Stage 3: Twin Lakes
With Start and finish at the athlete village, supporters will have the opportunity to cheer for the riders on several places on the course, from the luxury of their vehicle. Then, either be back in time to see the winners cross the finish line, or enjoy the lake from a boat.
Stage 4: Volcanoes XCO
We head up to the volcanoes, for 3 laps on a technical circuit, which gives supporters ample chance to see the riders from different angles. Of course they will have access to the VIP zone at the finish line as well.
Afterwards, while the riders showers, supporters have the opportunity to go visit the Gorilla visitor centre.
Stage 5: Kivu Lake
The final stage for the riders and the supporters alike, brings us to some of the most scenic roads on the route. Rain forest, tea plantations and lakes. We'll make sure we can cheer for the riders, but don't forget to take in the nature as well!
The finish party and podium ceremony in the afternoon can be interrupted for some boating activities for those who wish
